Trinity College London (TCL) Autumn 2020 exams have been cancelled up to November, though theory exams will be taking place on 9 November.  The online booking remains closed for all but Rock&Pop exams in Watford and Aylesbury in December.

There will be no Classical and Jazz exams in Hatfield, Hemel, Tring and Aylesbury, and Rock&Pop exams will not be able to take place in Letchworth, Hatfield and Tring.

Following huge demand for the Digital Assessments, Trinity is developing new Digital offering which it hopes will become live later this year.  Please see the message opposite that was released on 24 September:

Trinity College London has announced the launch of a new Digital Grades and Diploma platform that will allow students to take their music and drama exams remotely from November 2020.

From November, the Digital Grades and Diploma exams platform will allow candidates to submit video recordings of their work. Candidates will be required to upload their work as one continuous video performance, which will be assessed by one of Trinity’s Examiners.

In Music Graded Exams, candidates will be required to upload a performance of their pieces and technical work; the assessment of the supporting tests will not be part of the submission. Instead, examiners will be applying an additional set of performance criteria that assesses the key musical skills underpinning the supporting tests requirements within the context of the whole recital. In Music Performance Diplomas, the exam requirements are unchanged.

ABRSM Performance Grades are remotely-assessed exams available from ABRSM at Grades 1 to 8. ABRSM also offer a remote-assessment option for ARSM exams. When you book an exam you can select an exam submission date from a list of options available during the exam session. This will be the latest date by which you must upload and submit the exam recording.
There is an online only booking service for all graded music exams, ARSM, Prep Test and Performance Assessment.  Booking is open for these exams until 12th October (Autumn exams).  No information is yet available for 2021 exams.
